i have windows vista and i cannot install autocad 2008 on it though the official autocad/autodesk 2008 web site says that Autocad2008 is compatible with vista. please help me with this installation.are there any features i should de select when i install to make it compatible.Thanks!

Tell mw one thoing why u r using windows vista? Coz my friends told me everything negative about it.

I agree with Geet,Vista is good only in looks and when it comes to performance it is totally absurd.
There are many softwares which don't work in Vista but work well in XP..so if you seriously need autocad i suggest you to have both the operating system in different drives(if u dont wana uninstall Vista)

Sorry as I know, AutoCad 08 isn't compatble with Windows Vista. But there's way to install it in Vista.

autocad 2008 installs and works fine in all flavour of vista. dont try to install from the DVD. copy all files in the hard disk in a folder. Run setup from there. This could solve the possible installation problems.
